Wassily Kandinsky
In undergrad, I read Kandisky’s famous work “Concerning the Spiritual in Art”.
A few years later, a very wise designer said to me: “No work that explores is ever wasted.”
I now let my work lead through these two creative tenants.
I was raised by a single mother in Rohnert Park, CA.
I left home at 17 to attend UC Davis as a self supporting student, graduating with a BA in Design.
I worked while in school, giving me a total of 5 years working experience across blue and white collar fields.
I am proficient in Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, and Figma.
My strongest skillsets in design are ideation and visual asset development. I am currently interested in work that focuses on UI gamification.
I have experience in creating printed materials, digital marketing assets, and branding UI standardization.
I started painting at 13, and have never stopped.
I am a creative at heart, but painting doesn't pay the bills.
I want to do what I love, and get paid for it.
I fell in love with design as a creative outlet that pays, and haven't stopped creating since.
